Art therapy is widely used to help survivors cope and learn to heal from abuse and violence. So, I’ve created a one-word photo/art challenge* for February (but you can start any time you want).
There are no rules. Just take the word and create art (photo, painting, drawing, poetry, writing in the sky) however you feel it — change it up every day. I’ll be playing along.
Join me publicly on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. with the hashtag #AlivetoThrive or #ScarsandTiaras, tag me, send it privately, or play along privately. Let yourself be free to explore your feelings through art!
